“Your Child, the Unknown Creature”, the first successful book by Oswalt Kolle which was filmed in 1970. The action takes place, among other things, on the nudist beach of Sylt, where he will film his family. In front of the camera, Oswalt Kolle has an explanatory conversation with his two sons and his daughter, he talks about methods of contraception and prophylactics. Then he talks openly with his children about masturbation and homosexuality.
Sex education was still a really big taboo topic in the 60s, when it was assumed that children were asexual creatures who only began to realize their sexuality at the beginning of puberty.
