This is a short black & white film from 1938 by “Hollywood Producers and Distributors” which helped originate the nudist exploitation movies which became more popular around 20 years later. The director is unknown and the voice-over is fairly typical of the time. It claims to show life at a nudist camp and the viewer is supposed to make up their own mind on whether nudism is positive or negative. But at the beginning of the short, nudism is referred to as a cult and viewers should decide whether it is “barbarism, heathenism, — or real modernism.” A handful of women featured look suspiciously like models and they are joined by a heavier woman who the male narrator picks fun at. Note to nudists: don’t get mad and thrown stuff at your screen!
