Hill Country Nudists (HCN) is a non-land owning nudist club based in Austin, Texas. The organization upholds the dignity and health benefits of the human body, advocating the belief that nudity should not be associated with shame.
HCN supports the notion that social nudity contributes significantly to enhancing life quality amidst numerous societal challenges.
What do we do?
We organize gatherings, typically once or twice a month, where members strip down, socialize, and enjoy themselves. The variety in the locations, themes, and sizes of our events is vast. Past activities have included game nights, movie nights, boat parties, murder mystery events, tie-dye shirt making, live music parties (Austin is the live music capital of the world, after all), and much more.
We also contribute to local community efforts by participating in initiatives like the Barton Creek Greenbelt cleanup to maintain Austin’s beauty and the Austin Parks Christmas tree recycling program. At our meetings, we also collect donations for the Central Texas Food Bank, to which we are a significant ongoing donor.
We collaborate closely with the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR), The Naturist Society (TNS), and AANR-Southwest to further the cause of social nudism both regionally and nationally.
Our dedicated board of directors works tirelessly to plan significant events, publish a monthly newsletter, and handle the administrative tasks needed to manage our rapidly growing club.
Our mission
HCN is dedicated to fostering a healthy acceptance of the human body and enjoying leisure in its natural state.
