Don’t forget Copper Cactus Ranch east of Phoenix. A resort worth the trip!
I agree, Copper Cactus Ranch does offer a rustic/rural nudist setting and is very comfortable. Also, there are many miles of back country areas managed by BLM (Bureau of Land Management) where you can travel and find yourself a camping spot, either in the lower deserts or up in the high mountains of Northern Arizona. The BLM regions are patrolled by Forest Rangers and County Sheriffs, and they must follow the BLM directives regarding nudity. As long as there are no clothed families or other individuals in the area that might file complaints then nudity is acceptable without any question. We have camped nude for many years without any problems. In fact, one time a member of our group got lost in the forest while hiking nude, a local Deputy stopped & gave him a ride to our camp site without any questions or problems.
