Welcome to SlimeTrail.org, the virtual home for the Sun Lovers Under Gray Skies, commonly known as The SLUGS. This family-oriented naturist events club is officially recognized as a non-profit organization in Washington State.
The SLUGS is renowned for its year-round schedule of naturist activities, catering to newcomers and seasoned naturists alike with affordable membership fees. As a travel club, we utilize public spaces and visit established naturist facilities, allowing us to maintain minimal operational costs. Our club is run entirely by volunteers, including a governing Board of Directors and Officers who ensure structured management.
Our club is inclusive, welcoming individuals of all ages, races, religions, genders, and marital statuses. We focus on introducing and fostering an appreciation for naturism, particularly among families and young adults, by ensuring that all activities are suitable for children. Safety is paramount, and all members are vetted through background checks.
Joining The SLUGS offers more than just a chance to eliminate tan lines; it’s an opportunity to connect with a community of enthusiastic naturists. Our members are passionate about living life fully, whether basking in the sun or relaxing at a spa on overcast days.
Our range of activities is diverse:
- Exploring the natural beauty of the Cascades and Central Washington through hikes
- Relaxing at spas, resorts, and bed-and-breakfasts
- Visiting hot springs in Washington and Oregon
- Enjoying water sports at mountain lakes
- Participating in fun group activities like volleyball, bocce, and kite flying
- Experiencing various types of saunas and hot tubs
- Engaging in social events such as potlucks, picnics, and movie nights
- Adventuring through cycling, kayaking, canoeing, and camping
- Exploring clothing-optional beaches, including the famed Wreck Beach in Canada
Our activities often involve participating without clothing, where practical. We also engage in broader community events like Bare Buns Fun Runs and music festivals, and host winter indoor gatherings and food-related outings.
If there’s an activity you’re passionate about that’s not listed, let us know! We’re always open to trying new things. We publish a high-quality newsletter with updates on upcoming events, reviews of past activities, and both entertaining and informative articles, available in digital and print formats.
Your membership includes access to our Email group for real-time updates and spontaneous event announcements, designed for ease of use directly to your inbox.
